²¹ They went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.^{(A) 22} They were completely amazed at His teaching; because He was teaching them as one having [God-given] authority, and not as the scribes. ²³ Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out [terribly from the depths of his throat],
